Sweet Home Kennels strives to excel within the breed standard of the Brittany. Our goal is to breed for excellent health, temperament, and overall compatibility.

Sweet Home Kennels is owned by Travis & Bethany Vickrey. We have both been life long dog lovers. Travis has always been an avid outdoorsman. Our vizsla, Riley was how our appreciation for sporting dogs began. While working with a trainer for her, we were introduced to upland hunting. We began upland hunting on the weekends and overall fell in love with pointing breeds. As Sweet Home’s Texas Pete - “Tex” joined our family, Travis took a specific interest in bird dog training. Bethany focuses on all things puppy related and client communication.

As our dogs have joined our family, we have thoroughly enjoyed learning each of their personalities and watching their strengths grow. Sweet Home’s Poison Ivy Jean - “Ivy” joined our family in 2023, we instantly fell in love with her sweet demeanor, eagerness to please, and drive in the field.
